The Global Sourcing Summit 2026, held on 3 - 4 June 2026 at IMPACT Exhibition Center, Bangkok, successfully brought together some of the most influential voices from across the global textile and apparel ecosystem - creating a powerful platform for dialogue, collaboration and a shared vision for the future of sourcing.
Held alongside the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 (Textiles & Apparel), the Summit was led by CEMS-Global USA, with AFTEX – ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries as Co-Organizer, International Apparel Federation (IAF) as Strategic Partner and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles (CCCT) as Partner.
At a time when geopolitical uncertainty, supply-chain disruptions, sustainability requirements, changing trade policies and rapid technological transformation are rewriting the rules of global sourcing, the Summit addressed the issues that matter most to the industry's future.
Across five high-impact sessions, distinguished leaders representing international federations, industry associations, manufacturing nations, sourcing organizations and research institutions exchanged perspectives on Asia's manufacturing landscape, supply-chain resilience, sustainability and compliance, regional collaboration, technology, digitalization and the rapidly evolving expectations of global buyers.
But the real success of the Global Sourcing Summit 2026 went beyond the conference stage.
It demonstrated the power of bringing the industry together - not merely to discuss disruption, but to explore how Asia can respond collectively. The Summit reinforced the importance of moving beyond fragmented, country-by-country sourcing towards stronger regional ecosystems built around collaboration, transparency, innovation, sustainability and long-term buyer–supplier partnerships.
Bangkok provided the ideal meeting point for that conversation, strengthening Thailand's position as a strategic bridge connecting ASEAN and Asia's manufacturing capabilities with global markets.
Most importantly, Global Sourcing Summit 2026 was not conceived as the end of a conversation - it marked the beginning of a movement.
Its successful inaugural edition has created the foundation for a stronger global industry platform where ideas can evolve into partnerships, partnerships into action, and action into a more resilient and connected sourcing ecosystem.
The future of global sourcing wasn't simply discussed in Bangkok.
It began taking shape there.
