At a defining moment for the global textile and apparel industry, sourcing decision-makers, manufacturers, policymakers, innovators, and trade leaders from across Asia and international markets gathered in Bangkok for the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 (Textiles & Apparel) and Global Sourcing Summit 2026 at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, in the Heart of Asia - Bangkok.
Led by CEMS-Global USA, with the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) as Co-Organizer, the initiatives create a powerful regional platform for sourcing partnerships, trade opportunities, and dialogue on the future of the textile and apparel value chain.
The platform brought together strong regional and global industry alignment: the International Apparel Federation (IAF) as Strategic Partner; China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles (CCCT) as Partner; and supporting organizations including National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI), Thailand Textile Institute (THTI), TAFTAC Cambodia, VITAS Vietnam, MGMA Myanmar, API Indonesia, MTMA Malaysia, Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) of Sri Lanka, Noida Apparel Export Cluster - India, and Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO).
Held from 3 - 5 June, the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2006 (Textiles & Apparel) connected manufacturers from across Asia with regional and international buyers and sourcing offices. Running concurrently on 3 - 4 June, the Global Sourcing Summit brought together global thought leaders and senior executives to address trade, supply chains, sustainability, competitiveness, innovation and long-term industry growth.
Under the vision “Asian Manufacturers. Global Buyers. One Powerful Sourcing Show,” the events responded to shifting supply chains, tariffs and geopolitical uncertainties. As brands and retailers seek diversified sourcing destinations, faster speed-to-market, stronger compliance and resilient production ecosystems, Asia continues to demonstrate exceptional manufacturing scale, capability, innovation and supply-chain depth.
The combined platform was designed to strengthen sourcing and production partnerships across ASEAN, South Asia and East Asia; create meaningful B2B opportunities; encourage regional collaboration; accelerate digital transformation and operational excellence; and advance sustainability, circularity and responsible manufacturing.
Mr. S. S. Sarwar, Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA, said: “The future of sourcing will not be built by isolated markets - it will be built through stronger regional collaboration, integrated value chains, and strategic partnerships across Asia and with the world. Today, we are bringing together the people and institutions that will shape the next chapter of global textile and apparel sourcing.”
He added: “Bangkok stands today not simply as the host city, but as a gateway connecting manufacturing excellence, sourcing opportunities, innovation, and dialogue across Asia. Our vision is to create a Global platform in Asia, where business opportunities are generated, knowledge is exchanged, and long-term industry transformation begins.”
Across the exhibition and Summit, attendees engaged in executive dialogues, buyer–supplier meetings, networking, and industry showcases addressing Global Sourcing in Transition; next-generation supply chains; Sustainability Beyond Compliance; technology, automation and AI; stronger ASEAN–South Asia–East Asia collaboration; and the future of Asian manufacturing.
The initiatives strengthened regional and international partnerships, encouraged sourcing and investment flows, and helped shape the next decade of growth for the global textile and apparel sector.
More than an exhibition, this was a strategic movement to position Bangkok and ASIA at the center of global sourcing.
